E.C.G - This piece of equipment is invaluable for measuring the electrical impulses of the heart and enables us to quickly diagnose many conditions such as arrythmias, congestive heart failure and cardiomyopathies.

ENDOSCOPY - We have different sized endoscopes enabling us to examine respiratory systems, and to remove foreign objects, such as bones, from the oesophagus.

SLIT LAMP And TONOMETER- These instruments allow us to perform much more thorough examinations of the eye, allowing more accurate assessment of corneal ulcers, and measurement of the Intra Ocular Pressure, used for diagnosing glaucoma and follow up examinations after cataract removal.

AIR DRIVEN DENTAL EQUIPMENT - For de - scaling, polishing and extraction of teeth.

RADIOGRAPH FACILITIES - We have x-ray equipment at both Hanham and Kingswood for radiographic examination of bony and soft tissue aswell as contrast and myelography in spinal cases. Automatic processors at both surgeries enable us to obtain virtually instant radiographic results.

LABORATORY FACILITIES - We have a fully equipped laboratory at our Kingswood surgery , which serves all three clinics. We are able to provide full general health, pre anaesthetic and older pet blood screening, as well as a variety of skin and urine examinations. Occasionally we will send samples to an external laboratory for more specialised testing. We recommend histopathology for all tumours that we remove.

ULTRA SOUND - This modern technique allows us to examine soft tissue internal organs without the necessity of an anaesthetic. It is particularly useful in the assessment of heart conditions and in detecting early pregnancies and checking the movement of foetus.
